This guy is from a concept done by a good friend of mine, he is part of a greater story but this guy caught my eye and my friend agreed to let me model him.  I hope I did it justice.  Thanks Alex.

These are a few characters I worked on for an online animation school.  It was great to work for these guys, they gave me some great experience and it was great getting some feedback from some pros.  I will have these guys posed soon but wanted to pass them along as is.  Hope you enjoy.

This is a personal project that I am still working on.  This one was inspired by somewhat atypical means.  I was in bed one night and I saw a shape that reminded me of a fish from a nature show I had seen.  This fish lives in a remote part of the world where people everyday lives are governed by the forces of nature around them.  This fish his large enough to harm humans and the people believe that this fish is a river god that swallows soles and carries them to the underworld.  I did a quick sketch and as I looked through reference material the project evolved into this.  I am calling him the Eater of Souls, or the hell lizard.  The idea is he patrols the river styx from Greek mythology and keeps souls from escaping the underworld.  I had a lot of fun with this guy, I know it is a bit heavier than the stuff I have posted previously, but that is the funny thing about people with creative minds, you never know where the inspiration will come from, or lead to.

Frank
What do holiday icons do on the days of the year they are not representing their particular holiday, well Frank is a doorman at a night club.  This is an idea I have had for a long time, and soon I plan to finish more to share.

Candyman
For a time I worked in a food warehouse.  In the winter it could get quite cold, and to protect himself form becoming wind burnt one of my coworkers wore a snowmobile mask with a toothy grin as a design.  One day as I was working I turned around and he was right behind me holding a box of candy.  After I had gathered myself he said, "would you like some candy?"  This sparked my imagination and this was the end result.  I am in the process of turning him into a 3d piece but right now here he is in all of his creeptastic glory.
